একটা কথা বারবার ইচ্ছা করে ভুল বলা হচ্ছে  ডাক্তারদের আন্দোলন নিয়ে,

যে এই আন্দোলনের ফলে সারা রাজ্যে প্রচুর রোগী  বিনা চিকিৎসায় মারা গিয়েছেন।

এ অনেকটা অস্বথামা হত, (ইতি গজ )র মতো।

কারণ বিশ্লেষণ করলেই বুঝতে পারবেন...

প্রথমত:

সারা রাজ্যে সরকারী ও বেসরকারি, ছোট ও বড়ো মিলিয়ে প্রায় 3000 হাসপাতাল

 intern/জুনিয়র ডাক্তার,হাউস staff,পিজিটি  একমাত্র মেডিকেল কলেজগুলোতেই আছে,

দ্বিতীয়ত :

এখন প্রতি জেলায় একটি করে medical কলেজ, যাদের অনেকেরই প্রথম batch বেরোয় নি, তাই intern তো দুরস্ত..

 তৃতীয়ত: 

পশ্চিমবঙ্গে recorded স্বাস্থ্য পরিকাঠামো অনুযায়ী

PHC, BPHC,RH মিলে মোট 1257 টি,

যেখানে কোনো জুনিয়র dr নেই, ফলে সারা রাজ্যে আন্দোলন হলে ও এখানে চিকিৎসায় ব্যাঘাত হওয়ার কোনো কারণ নেই,

চতুর্থত :

পশ্চিমবঙ্গে recorded স্বাস্থ্য পরিকাঠামো অনুযায়ী 

State জেনারেল ও sub division হাসপাতাল মিলে মোট 70 টির মতো,

যেখানে ও কোনো জুনিয়র dr নেই, ফলে সারা রাজ্যে আন্দোলন হলে ও এখানেও চিকিৎসায় ব্যাঘাত হওয়ার কোনো সম্ভাবনা নেই,

পঞ্চমত :

পশ্চিমবঙ্গে recorded স্বাস্থ্য পরিকাঠামো অনুযায়ী

সেন্ট্রাল govt হাসপাতাল যেমন রেলওয়ে, ESI etc মিলে মোট 60 টির মতো,

যেখানে ও কোনো জুনিয়র dr নেই, ফলে সারা রাজ্যে আন্দোলন হলে ও এখানেও চিকিৎসায় ব্যাঘাত হওয়ার কোনো সম্ভাবনা নেই,

ষষ্ঠত :

সারা রাজ্যে যে পৌরসভা ও কর্পোরেশন হাসপাতাল আছে তাদের ও কোনো  জুনিয়র dr নেই, ফলে সারা রাজ্যে আন্দোলন হলে ও এখানেও চিকিৎসায় ব্যাঘাত হওয়ার কোনো সম্ভাবনা নেই,

সপ্তমত: 

pvt হাসপাতাল তো রয়েছেই, যেখানে এখন স্বাস্থ্যসাথী সুবিধা নিয়ে ও চিকিৎসা চলছে, তাও বন্ধ হওয়ার কোনো কারণ নেই 

তাহলে, কটি হাসপাতাল রইল, যাদের পরিষেবা জুনিয়র dr দের জন্য বিঘ্নিত হতে পারে সবমিলিয়ে 14 থেকে 16 টি হাসপাতাল,

যা মোট হাসপাতালের 0.52%

কিন্তু সেখানে কি বাকি ডাক্তাররা ছুটিতে চলে গিয়েছেন, নাকি একদিন নয়, এক ঘন্টার জন্য ও কোনো পরিষেবা বন্ধ আছে??

আমি রামপুরহাট মেডিকেল কলেজে রয়েছি, এখানে জুনিয়র dr রা duty তে নেই,কিন্তু আমাদের মতো WBHS  ডাক্তার দের সঙ্গে কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে duty করে চলেছেন শিক্ষক চিকিৎসকরা (MES)

তাই, দয়া করে কোনো গুজবে কান দেবেন না, সরকারী স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবা আগেরমতোই 24hr × 365 days চালু আছে।
